Newspaper addresses
Please remember to keep your letters brief and to the point,
so they'll have a better chance of being printed. Be firm in expressing
your convictions, but polite. Newspapers generally require a full address
(but will withhold it if you request). They also need your phone number,
because they need to call you to confirm that you wrote the letter and
that you consent to having it printed. Follow these links for thorough
guides to writing
letters to the editor and op-ed
pieces, located at the excellent
American Rivers website.
