Please get in
touch with one or more of these fine organizations. They're doing
important work on river preservation, and are a great source of information
and links. |

Local organizations
focused on the lower Connecticut River valley: |
CRCPT
(The Connecticut River Committee for the Public Trust) is a Chester-based
group focused on river preservation through application of the legal
concept of the river as a "public trust." They're doing
a lot of good work both "behind the scenes" and by raising
public awareness. Unfortunately, this site works poorly or not at
all on a Macintosh. If you're a Mac user, it would still be worthwhile
to send an email to Jay McKay
and have him put you on his mailing list so you can keep up to date
on the latest news. |
